Within the framework of the CES 2017, the vehicle manufacturer Hyundai has announced that its cars equipped with Blue Link soon will be compatible also with Google Assistant. This new feature will allow owners of new Hyundai vehicles to control various functions of the same using voice commands through Google Home.
The support of Hyundai to Google Assistant will allow users to control many things that now control Blue link through their smartphones or smartwatches. For example, can ask the wizard of Google for some next restaurant and then get directions to get to it to just say “Ok Google, say to Blue Link to send the address to my Santa Fe”.
New Hyundai cars-compatible voice commands can also be used to adjust the temperature in the interior of the vehicle, or control other basic functions of Blue Link such as lock and unlock the car, Start Remote, horn or lights. The most of these commands will require that the user provide the number PIN of Blue Link, by what is is of a system safe.
Hyundai to issued a press release announcing the news that provides some examples of voice commands that are supported as “Ok Google, sent to Blue Link the address of the Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas to my Sonata”, and “Ok Google, say to Blue Link that is blocking my car”.
