Until today you could only match your Android with the Microsoft Band 2 device, but not be eligible for the support to Cortana. From today, with the update of the Microsoft Health Play Google app, the Redmond giant has brought support to the personal assistant for Android phones Semidetached houses with the Microsoft Band 2.
This app is available for all Android device that has version 4.2 Jelly Bean or higher. The only thing that time its availability is exclusively for the users who are in the United States.
The updated version of Microsoft Health is the 1.3.20602.2 and allows users to access voice of Cortana commands to answer text messages, instant notifications and much more. This is the list of features:
- Connect and compete with friends: creates challenges for steps, scoring cardio, racing and bike between you and your Facebook friends who also use Microsoft Health
- Cortana is now available on Android: with Cortana in your Band Microsoft, you can access your personal assistant for notifications of important events, communications and active information by voice without having to use the phone. Speaks to the microphone of your Band to Cortana perform actions
